I suffered with constipation for years. I had to take all sorts of remedies

(milk of magnesia, illegal metamucil, tons of magnesium supplements, prune

juice, illegal aloe juice, etc.). SCD helped some right away, but it wasn't

until after the 3 month flare (where the constipation got worse) that things

improved immensely. Since then, I've only had one other bout of constipation.

Plus, the only thing I take to help stay regular is a fraction of the magnesium

that I used to take. I don't have to avoid dairy either. There is hope fellow

constipated SCDers!
