I think Dearie, that you oughter wear that red anytime it makes your heart

happy. You are a lovely woman and could wear a shopping bag and it would look

great. Besides so many of us spent so many years wearing the equivalent of a

tablecloth with seams and a neck oopening, that ANYTHING that makes your heart

happy is exactly what you ought to wear, no matter what.

Generally speaking, just to answer your question 'arteestically' and

seriously-- depending on whether your hair is a warm red (gplden undertones), or

cool

red (bluish undertones), the matching temperature of red often looks most

dashing. So for golden undertones-- a more orange-red red. For blue undertones,

a

more blue-red red (has more violet underlying the red).

To clarify for those who haven't much experience in this one area, think of

the difference between a tomato (golden undertones) --and most bright red

apples (bluish undertones).

As to organizing your closet, hoity toity fashion models organize by color or

by kind of garment: dresses/ skirts/blouses/ jackets, etc. This makes it

easy as pie to choose whatever they need. For most of us, choice is not the

issue

as much as FINDING the dang thing they want/need. So, fashion mavens, those

who depend on clothes to make a living, have at least two closets (or moving

boxes--grin) and put in one closet ONLY clothes they have worn in last year. In

the other, they put " specialty clothes. " Your feathered french boas and little

maid outfits and prety little I-am-woman/you-my-slave/hear me roar costume

would go here.

love,

good advice from baaaad ceep
