How soon for a Panni?

Question about timing and weight loss for Panni... I don't consider myself

anywhere near ready for panni/tummy tuck etc. I have lost over 100 lbs since WLS

but am still at 204 as of this morning.

According to CTscan I have a hernia that has bowel in it (PCP said this means

the bowel is protruding into abdominal wall)

But also have large ovarian cyst so there is a good possibility I will have to

have surgery.

It has been suggested by some people on the boards that I try to get panni done

at the same time. This seems ridiculous to me. I do have a floppy belly and all

but just think I need to lose at least 50 lbs before considering any plastic

surgery.

Opinions anyone? Someone also said that a panni would help to keep the hernia

from coming back. Is that true? I know when I had the first ovarian cyst

removed 9 years ago we had a problem with my belly

hanging down and it pulling on my incision. Will see WLS and gyno this week I

hope. Neither of course would do a Panni. Would have to see a PS fur that.
