Guest guest
I was the same way Laurette. I had no real interest in food for quite some time and I usually ate fish because it was one thing that did taste okay to me and I never got sick from it or felt that " uncomfortable feeling " I always felt with other foods. That " feeling " lasted until about 4 months post-op for me by the way. I remember thinking it would always be that way when I ate for the rest of my life and I got all bummed. The people on the message board told me it wouldn't always be that way and they were right! I now just feel like a normal person when I eat and I know when to stop eating because I recognize what full and satisfied feels like now. That was the thing I never recognized pre-surgery. I would know when I was way over full but never just when I was satisfied.
