Since medicare approves the DS, its the reason it was overturned. We knew

that and even the insurance man told us that anything medicare pays for by

law insurance has to pay too. We even told Regence that but they played

dumb telling us they never have paid for this surgery (when their paperwork

showed they have!) they even lied thru their teeth with medicare on some

things like saying there was No surgeon in network who even did the RNY and

that was a bold faced lie! (there is one surgeon in network doing the DS

but not for medicare patients and all the rest except for OHSU were doing

nothing but the RNY....another lie!

Their poor CEO I guess made alot less money last year becuz they had to pay

for our surgeries LOL
