Guest guest
We didn't have any problems nursing while my son was in his band. If the band resting on your arm is uncomfortable you might want to put a small pillow or blanket in between your arm and the band. My son is going to get his StarBand on Monday and I'm already nervous wreck (though I am all for it). I'm curious if and how it interferes with nursing? I still nurse 6x a day (bottle is not an option) and i'm affraid he will wean off too soon... any advice? ------------------------------------ For more plagio info
Guest guest
I nursed the whole time my dd was in the band. It takes some getting used to because the helmet can dig into your arm if you hold your baby that way while nursing. I found that nursing while laying down on my bed worked the best... and I had a good excuse to lay down alot! :-) Jen Mom to Luli - 3 yrs old Torticollis, Plagio, Syringomyelia nursing baby with helmet? Guest guest
During our first visit to nopco in Boston there was a mom nursing her son without any problems and he seemed pretty old maybe even a year and he had his band on. I would just worry that the velcro is not on your side scratching your breast. I accidentally rubbed my eye on my sons velcro and it scraped my contact right out and and was bloodshot for days. Those are dangerous. You could use nursing time to take it off and not give him any other beaks instead. That way the bond remains as it always was.
