Candi,

I just happened to run across na's pictures that you put in the

photos section of the group. First let me say what a beautiful girl

she is! She is so adorable in that little pink outfit!

A couple things I noticed in the pictures that I wanted to mention or

ask about.

First, it looks like her bar width is REALLY narrow. I don't know if

you've tried holding them up to her shoulders but it looks like the

heels of her shoes are very close together, which as you know can

really cause discomfort.

The second thing I wanted to ask about is about the use of the AFO's

inside the Markell shoes. I've never seen this or heard of this being

done. I'm mainly curious on this one and wondering if anyone else has

had experience with this type of set up. Did the Dr. or orthotist

tell you to do this? Was this the way they measured her for the

shoes, with the AFO's on? Did they tell you what they were trying to

accomplish by having her wear them like this? Sorry for all the

questions, this just really peaked my curiosity.
