Guest guest
This comes as injection, tablets, and syrup. It appears to be UK only. Here is a commercial page containing info for the tablets. http://www.mypharmacy.co.uk/products/immune/allergy/hay-fever/piriton/ piriton-pil.htm The tablets contain lactose, so if the child has milk allergy/intolerance, that may be the cause. They also contain a yellow color, which can also set off some children. And some children just go wild with antihistamines in general. Here is another page of info I found, you can look here also. Piriton appears to be used in UK for anaphylactic reactions. http://www.allergy-clinic.co.uk/food_allergy_for_doctors.htm > A 4 yr old has been prescribed Piriton by his GP for the effects of > intolerances, i saw him going wild after his first dose, has anyone > heard of Piriton being prescribed for Autism, any other opinions/info > would be most welcome. > Thanks in advance, > Best wishes, > Margaret.
