also-double check the bar width-if it is too short, he can use that

as leverage to pull the foot out.

oh, I forgot... you can also try tightening the strap *too tight*

and then lacing as tightly as possible, and then some. Make sure the

ankle is super tight. Then loosen the strap back to the looser

hole. That may keep him tight all over the foot, but not quite as

tight at the strap. May or may not work, something to experiment with though.
