Guest guest
I ummm quit 25 years ago and really didn't want to. We went to a 7th Day Adventist meeting to help quit smoking. I don't know if they even do it anymore. They were nice people. Suggestions are: Lots of orange juice to cleanse the system. Your system as it quits smoking will be dumping toxins. Take B vitamins in fairly high doses. Thiamine (I think B6 or B12) is what coats the brain cells. When you ingest nicotine it eats off the thiamine and then since the nicotine is temporary it wears off and so you have a need to smoke. Taking the extra B's help recoat the brain cells with the appropriate coating easier. The reason the patch can hinder your chances to quit is that it is still taking the nicotine to the brain. and causing the reaction of nicotine wear off. Also, get carrot and celery sticks and smoke them (don't light them) with your hands and mouth and that will help you start to adjust the behavioral habits. I am not preaching here guys just trying to share what helped me get through and having a rough idea of what was going on in my body really helped. i
