Guest guest
Ok, so now I'm getting excited. Listening to or reading all of you're inspiring stories makes me want to start living life too. I wanna play toooooo! Life has been a spectator sport for too long now. It's time to get off the bench and play. I can't write any more now. I'm feeling.... hollotwomn@... wrote: So Donna I read your post and see all the different things you do and thought I would share this. I just signed up for Tennis lessons all by myself. My daughter was going to do it with me but she is scorekeeping on the same nights as the lessons. I am nervous because it is so different for me but I am not afraid. Before surgery I would have never thought of doing this in front of other people now I am just nervous to show up to the first lesson but yet so excited. Hope this makes since. I was 270 at orientation, I had surgery at 228 and at 5 months post op I was 150 goal weight, but I wanted to be 135. I made it to 138 to where my body likes me, have been there for 6 months now. I just never started back to carbs, caffeine or sugar. I really do the 3 meals a day, Protein, protein, protein with a little fruit, veg's mainly. Drink all my water, take all my vitamins, and exercise no less than 5 days a week. I do swim aerobics 3 nights a week, I ride my bicycle 1 night a week, I walk everyday to take my daycare children to play at the park and I don't even count this, I do the elliptical 1 day or the treadmill, and tonight I am in a 24 hour Relay for Life for cancer. I love being active now that I not heavy any more and you have to find things you love. I get bored if I do the same exercises so I do lots of things and it keeps me going and smiling. You have to push yourself but you can make it> to this point and be one who says I made my goal. It is a wonderful feeling. Take care. Donna J.> > sherri phillips wrote: Woo Hoo!!!!
