Re: Nose Piercing and Orthognathic Surgery

When I had my op (two months ago) I had a tube up my nose and down

into my stomach to suck out any bloody that got down there. I'm

thinking that the nose piercing would interfere with that.

Personally, I'd be worried about the surgeon's instruments getting

tangled in it but I suppose if they don't make you take it out

they'd stick a plaster over the top so that wouldn't happen.

I don't have my nose pierced though so I don't know for sure.
