Guest guest
Good for you! I, too, gather that cigna can be more problematic than Kaiser, and it seems to me that the folks who have had surgery at Kaiser (at least in the hospitals in California) have been pleased, for the most part, with their treatment and their surgeons. Apparently at least some facilities have it all worked out down to a T, even having their patients go through a class before the surgery, so they can lay everything out for a group of patients at once. (I am not sure how I would have felt about that; I liked my individual time with the surgeon. But I'd have done it if I'd been told to -- and the folks who have done it that was have said the class was very helpful and informative. Since you have two coverages, though, you might want to investigate whether Cigna will pick up any co-pay or other expenses to you, if Kaiser is your primary insurer. People have battled Cigna and won, if I am not mistaken. It just takes a dogged persistence and meticulous record-keeping, sometimes, to get them to change their minds. Again, though: READ YOUR POLICIES CAREFULLY! C. > > i don't care for him, that's why i'm going through my pcp so i can be > referred to a kaiser surgeon.
