Guest guest
My RNY was lap and at about 18 months out I had an intestinal kink, so you aren't safe with a lap surgery. My pains were also cramping, labor type that began with eating and then progressed over time to anything that I swallowed including my own spit! That's when I finally broke down and called my surgeon. He went back in lap and unkinked 'em and them sewed 'em down tight so hopefully they can't do that again. I agree with Sue don't mess around with this type of pain. I waited a couple of months and shouldn't have- could have been a real disaster. I don't have kids.) > > So you don't know if it's adhesions without letting them cut on you? I'm a lap RNY. I thought that was supposed the lessen the risk of adhesions...considerably? ..
