I have a question.. I have had pain in my right upper quadrant for over two

months. The surgeons think I have adhesions , as well as a ventral hernia and

an umbilical hernia causing the pain. They have told me that I will need

exploratory surgery to be sure.. However, I have noticed that the severity of

the pain increases during the day. Does pain associated with adhesions and

hernias increase as the day goes on and gets better after you have rested for

hours.. I find that I feel better.. although not pain free,.. after sleeping

for

a few hours.. and as I am up and active, the pain intensifies..

Thanks

hugs,

from GA
