Guest guest
Hi Leila, Thanks for asking. We went for his first check up today since his initial adjustments...he's doing so well! He went from 97.5% CI to 91%, cranial vault is down from 4.5 to 3.2 and his left plagio is now 4.9mm from 6.6mm in under 5 weeks! His ortho added some foam to even out his brachy but when I took off his band for tubby time, there was a huge red line running across his forehead....so it's off to the ortho again! My husband came with me today and witnessed how the ortho's there definitely think I'm a " crazy " mom...I was really outspoken with what adjustments and concerns I had about Luke's helmet...my husband was so proud of me especially since I am usually SO not that person. But I don't care. I know I have to be that person or else I'll just be upset and obsessed if I think something isn't right. I'm excited to hear about Maysa's final graduation. You must be so relieved it's right around the corner. The countdown begins.... Mom to Luke, 6 months old, severe brachy, mild plagio 5 weeks in STARband tomorrow NYC > > > > For those of you who wonder if change can happen when wearing a DOC band, even at a later age, here is a comparison picture for you: > > > > http://mymaysa. wordpress. com/2009/ 05/09/left- profile-comparis on/ > > > > Leila, > > Maysa, 15.5 months, less than 3 weeks left in DOC band 2 > > www.mymaysa. wordpress. com > > >
