No, we're sugar, preservative and additive free. The only sweet stuff we eat

is fruit. We just don't do any cakes, cookies, candy, sweet cereal, etc. It

took a while to condition our taste buds, but my son no longer complains. We

do avoid birthday parties and don't go to occasions where sweets are a main

focus. We have gone to some close friends and family parties, and have

brought our own food. We alerted my son ahead of time that there would be

food there we couldn't eat, and brought some Potato Flyer (gfcf potato chips)

which he really likes, to eat instead. We also gave him some new little toys

to play with while everyone had cake. It worked for us. Good Luck!

Hi Anne,

I use sugar for LJ, he has no yeast problems.

But all preservatives, artificial colors, artificial flavors and almost

all additives are totally eliminated. LJ has been GFCF and all of this

for 15 months and doing excellent. Sorry I don't know the answers to the

milled cane & sugar questions.
