Guest guest
Response: I called a compounding pharmacy as well to see about this. We are not GF (we try to limit somewhat, but are not totally gluten-free). Mostly, I work on making snacktimes GF right now, and the meals we give with enzymes), but we try to be milk-free, as my son has severe sensitivities (not anaphalactic allergic, though) to milk. The person I spoke to researched it, and, because it is made up of several chemical salts (five, I think), and because they could not get " pure " chemicals to make it, they couldn't compound it. I called a compounding pharmacy to see if this could be omitted, and I was told it cannot. I also asked if it could be made into liquid form, and again the answer was no.
