Guest guest
I am so happy to hear that! Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I know most of the info (95% of it)I received from my Dr.'s dietian was based on the RNY diet and not on the DS because she wasnt really up on it. She wanted me to eat pureed for month after coming home even though the doctor had said i could eat what i felt capable of. thanks again, Carol L We do not count calories after surgery By the time a DSer is a year out he should be eating 2500 calories a day and only absorbing HALF of that! Half of that is 1250 calories! This is why you dont need to count calories! Judie
