Guest guest
Hi Liane, This is an interesting subject as I was just looking into re-ordering my calcium. I switched to MCHA (Microcrystalline Hydroxyapatite) after my PTH levels came back high indicating I wasn't getting enough calcium. I had been taking the Citracal Plus (Citrate) and wasn't sure I was absorbing it well enough. I am still awaiting the results of the latest bloodwork to see if the MCHA is working better. I bought the " Bone Up " MCHA made by Jarrow also available in the health food store. It contains Magnesium, Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Boron, Vitamin C, D3, K1 and Glucasamine. It runs about $22 for bottle of 240. I'll be interested to see how the Metagenics compare when their website is up and working again? Also has anyone tried Phytocal, A Maerl sea-Calcium? Just wondered if it would be the right kind of calcium for us? http://www.dadamo.com/napharm/pd2.htm > I know there are folks on this egroup that get the microcrystalline > hydroxyapatite form of calcuim other places than the metagenics > website.. where do you all get yours? The Metagenics is good, but so > expensive.. and I'm sooo broke! > thanks in advance, > Hugs, > Liane
