You probably will want to have taken lots of fluids for a couple of

days so that you aren't dehydrated. And thell the place you go

immediately that you are a " hard stick " and that you need the best

person they have. You might phone ahead and tell them that you have

dreadful veins and see if there is a particular day or time when

their best vampire is working. LOL

Also you need to get this done ASAP so that your body has time to

recover before surgery. It seems awfully close to me to be giving

that much blood.

Thanks for your reply, I am with you in your thinking, and will see

how giving just the first pint goes if it is too yucky I wont be

giving any more - and your right I definately want it all Back at

surgery!!!

Thank you so much for replying I will definately be fluid loading

prior to them taking any blood - I have a feeling that October is

going to be one long water fest in preparation for my November 5

surgery.

I will be making sure that the vampire is very good - LOL.
