Guest guest
You probably will want to have taken lots of fluids for a couple of days so that you aren't dehydrated. And thell the place you go immediately that you are a " hard stick " and that you need the best person they have. You might phone ahead and tell them that you have dreadful veins and see if there is a particular day or time when their best vampire is working. LOL Also you need to get this done ASAP so that your body has time to recover before surgery. It seems awfully close to me to be giving that much blood. in Seattle > My surgeon Dr Ritchie (BPD/DS - in Sydney Australia) wants his > patients to give 3 units of their own blood if it is needed. Guest guest
Thank you so much for replying I will definately be fluid loading prior to them taking any blood - I have a feeling that October is going to be one long water fest in preparation for my November 5 surgery. I will be making sure that the vampire is very good - LOL.
