Guest guest
I am grateful that you are sharing what works for you, but do remember-- we are not here to MARKET any products. There are many vitamin and mineral companies out there-- and you do not have to spend huge amounts of money to get quality products. Your local health food stores can steer you in the right direction. It's great that so many of us do get relief from B vitamin complexes, MSM, CoQ10, etc. The idea of spending hundreds of dollars on supplements is something most of us can't do-- so shop around. They do help, and part of sarcoidosis shows that we are unable to process various vitamins and minerals the way we should-- that is our bodies can't assimilate them the way they should. That, however is true of the population at large, as most of us don't have any training or knowledge of what vitamins counteract the assimilation of another when taken together. Naturally, the drug companies aren't going to educate you on this issue-- so it would be prudent to do some research. If you are a distributor for direct marketing-- put that in your profile, but it has no place on the site--- and is a breech of Yahoo Groups Rules of Conduct. Thank you all for understanding-- and please-- share what works-- if it's vitamins, minerals, stuff we can all access at our local drug stores or grocery stores-- it's the direct marketing part that gets us in trouble. I realize it's a fine line-- and we've got the opportunity with Mitch who is a chiropractor, and several others-- to really share what we know and in doing so, we may all have more "better" days. Guest guest
Tracie... I totally agree. Hope i didn't cross any boundaries. I'm not selling anything and this isn't the place to do it. I shared where i got my supplement like you did with the MSM. And what would work with me may even be bad for someone else.....just like with some of the meds. Supplements have interactions with meds and we can't possibly know all the stuff someone else is taking much less their medical condition. Some have heart involvement...others don't, etc. Not all products are the same though...have the same quality ingredients. I would think the MSM powder gets into your system a lot quicker than the capsules that I take but I can't handle the taste. It's a give-and-take with all the info people share. Take what works and leave the rest. Do your research cuz nobody knows everything. But i wouldn't have known or taken MSM or milk thistle without someone(Tracie) sharing the info. I would like to know more info on if Vit. C would be of any benefit. thanks! S. Guest guest
NO , you'v enot crossed any lines -- we just have to make sure we don't. It's a fine line. I have some great info on Vit C-- and it's anti-inflammatory properities-- I'll search it up, and get it out to all of you. The powder form of any of these work quicker and more efficiently as they get in the system so much faster-- but as you say, the taste is nasty -- guess it's good to have no taste left...
