LOL My husband was given the decision finally because I just couldn't commit to a name. Btw, Grant was not on my short list at all. I'd written it down as an okay name. When I asked my hubby what his favorite name was, Grant was what he chose. I was surprised, but I decided to go with it. I agonized and kept asking if I could change it if I didn't like it after all. Well, after a day of calling him Grant, I loved it, and I still do. Mason was on my short list, and probably my favorite, and I think it would have worked, also, but I'm very pleased with Grant's name. I don't think a baby has to be named right away. LOL What I did for each of my kids was make a list of names and narrow it down to my favorites. I said the names out loud to test them and see if it felt " weird " or difficult to say. With my oldest I used a name on the short list, with my second I used a name that never made it on the list, and with the third I also used a name on the short list. Funny how that worked out.
