Guest guest
I think someone had previously mentioned duct tape. I think that was to put over the laces, not to tape down his hands. Guest guest
LOL. ;-) I want a drawstring or velcro bootie that fits over the shoe. Guess that would get too hot in the summer though. And a hole would have to be sewn for the screw to go through. Hmm, duct tape..do any of the babies manage to get the duct tape loose and eat it, and if so is the glue dangerous? > > I think someone had previously mentioned duct tape. Guest guest
, Take a look at the tips in the files section...It explains to reverse the laces so that they tie on the bottom instead of the top. If he is undoing them at night, have you tried a sleep sack yet? The little bugger can't untie them in one of those! =-) Good luck! Guest guest
I remember reading that, but since he can reach the bottom also, I don't understand how that will help??? He is undoing them while in the pack n play during the day usually while I am attending my 2 yr old's needs. :-) > > > > > > I think someone had previously mentioned duct tape. Guest guest
I'm coming in late here so not sure if someone has already mentioned this. Logan was also undoing his laces all the time. We use Old Navy socks and I just fold the sock down over the shoe and stick the laces underneath. This has worked well for us. and Logan FAB 23/7=hopefully only until our appt tomorrow! Guest guest
When Mollie is in her markells, I fold the tops of her socks down over her shoes and cover ther laces. When she is in her dobbs brace she can undo the velcro straps, so I cut the toes off a pair of bigger boys socks and put them over the shoes and onto the bar. Then after I get her strapped in I can pull them up over the shoe. Not very pretty, but it works. Guest guest
Extra long socks, folded down once the shoe is on and tucked right under the sole of the shoe, nestled around the bar works for us! Guest guest
- We do the sock/fold down trick and since our son is now nights only- we zip him up into a sleep sack as well. He has yet to figure out how to unzip the sack(it will come, I know) but for the time being- this keeps his little fingers away from picking at his shoes! take care, kathleen > > > > > > > > > > I think someone had previously mentioned duct tape.
