OT ?--Miracle Blanket work with FAB?

Ok, I admit it... I'm getting desperate. Actually, I've been desperate and am

now reaching

realms that, until now, I'd never imagined.

will not sleep enough at night. The most I can get out of him is 2-3

hours at a

time during the night. By the time I've nursed him and gotten myself back to

sleep, I get

about an hour before the next feed/fuss/crab/whine starts again. I can't let

him cry it out

because I think he's too young. He doesn't nurse enough during the 12 hours

he's awake

during the day to keep him healthy and growing, so he DOES need to nurse at

night. He

DOES NOT need to play and fuss and whine every hour on the hour (if not more

frequently)

from 12-5am. He's swaddled now, but it's a pathetic one at best because I have

tried to

just get his arms within a blanket we were using prior to the FAB. He won't

stay up past

6pm (that's on a good night... usually more like 5-5:30pm) and late afternoon

naps

haven't helped solve that.

My question is whether or not anyone has used the miracle blanket (not the

swaddle-me)

with success on a little bit older child (4 mos) who's wearing the P/M or DBB

brace at

night? (and naps, for that matter) I don't want to buy it if it won't fit.

We've spent too

much on things that don't work!! And strollers, bedding, carseats, etc etc

etc... :-)

I'm at my wits end. I need sleep and can't let him scream for many reasons, not

the least

of which being that he's just too young in my opinion. I haven't gotten any

ideas from the

ped, family, friends, etc. Everyone gives two options--let him cry or deal with

things as

they are now. I can't believe those are our only options. Not yet.

Any input would be appreciated. Apologies for the length and off-topic nature

of the

post!
