Those aren't really bad labs, Liane. Most are within 10% of the

range. Yeah your MCH & MCHC are sitting at the bottim, but the RDW is

high. Actually I don't see anything here to account for profound

fatigue. I've noticed that many of us have much higher levels of

energy in the daytime and then collapse after work. I recall that

happening during my many diets as well.

How about eating more T-Bone steaks? That ought to get that heme

up.. and remember, taking a Vit C with iron or heme rich food can

increase the absorption about 25%.

Minus 68 is awesome.

Hugz to you

Thanks ..

The only reason it concerns me is that I had polycythemia vera preop..

and to go from borderline high to borderline low scares me.. I'm

wondering if my labs would have been worse if I'd been dead-on

centered preop... Yep, I'm eating more steak.. of all kinds. Lately

I'm into ribeyes, but only when on sale, lol.. I'm also taking extra

iron, & now that the " other " problem is fixed, I'll go back to taking

the vitamin C (I'd stopped because Vit. C can aggravate diarrhea).

The fatigue bugs me because I've only experienced it like this before

when I was getting sick.. & I don't *think* I'm getting sick.. only an

allergy flareup (all the rain here, the mold is unreal!). I do

appreciate your input, though.. since no one else (my MD)has commented

about them. I want to nip any problems in the bud.. I kinda like

feeling good <g>.

And yeah.. I'll take -68.. its a bit more than 1/4 of what I want to

lose. =)

Hugs,

Liane =)
