I am not a moderator but wanted to respond and tell you how bad I feel about

you being flamed. No one should be flamed. I personally have never had that

happen to me or maybe was to dead in the head to notice.

I wish you would reconsider. I will miss your postings.

Nevermind, I have figured out how to delete my posts

from the archives and I believe they are all gone.

What I will say at this point, is that as a MO person

all my life I have been treated like shit. I don't

come to this forum to be treated like shit by another

fatty who is talking out of her ample ass. If a

moderator does not step in and set us back on track,

this thread will continue on as long as liane's ass

has something to say. I will not be belittled and

called stupid, for god sakes the bitch doesn't even

know me.......i for one will not take it anymore, if

her ass responds, then so will I......I hope we get

some moderation soon cuz i am just plain tired of

liane's ass doing her talking for her.

I can curse with the best of them but you're testing the bounds of what is

reasonable on an open public list.

What a moderator will do is ban your posts to the public list; a happenstance

I for one would be thrilled to see happen. Liane's posts are not any better

but at least she is not attacking you verbally and as viciously as you seem

to be doing.

A wise person once said when you lose your temper you lose control. Why not

just stop and let the silence speak for itself!

I did notice Liane's comment about you not being a doc

or something and the way she worded it sounded rude,

in my opinion. That's the only time I noticed her

putting you down but, then again, I wasn't looking for

it so I might have just missed it.

But I gotta say that if you were wrong in your

original posting, it's good you were corrected. Just

like I would want to be corrected if I posted

mis-info. I did think the first time she corrected

you she wasn't rude but the second time there was a

comment that probably shouldn't have been worded the

way it was. Anyway, this is just my opinion.

(Not that I thought Liane was evil or anything by her

wording, just that it came off as rude).

But your posts have become increasingly hostile and

profane and I think it's come to a point where you

have to get a reality check. It's not worth it to be

so angry. It's not worth it to you, to Liane, or to

the rest of us who are reading the posts.

Please, this is a group for people who are (or were)

very obese. We have enough problems in our lives with

trying to live with our large bodies... being subject

to discrimination... trying to fight the insurance

battle... jumping through the rest of the hurdles to

have the surgery which will literally save our lives.

Please, let's get back to supporting each other. This

should be a safe place for all of us.

Since I have no knowledge of this argument, I am taking no sides in

this, but I do wish to express my opinion on this statement. ,

you claim to have been treated like shit for all of your MO life, and

yet when you chose to argue with Liane, you attack her weight. If

you disagree with her, or hate her...whatever your feelings are,

don't be reduced to name calling about her weight on a forum

concerning weight issues and WLS.

I am appalled by this post on so many levels I don't know where to

start, but if I get nothing else across, the slanders over her weight

are beyond belief. I feel like I just flew back 20 years and are

listening to kids in a playground picking on the " fat kids " . Argue

the merits of your issue, don't attack on such a petty level. It is

no different then attacking someones race or physical limitations.

It is no different then picking on a blind girl for her lack of

sight, or an amputee for his missing limb.

In light of this weeks tragedy I am going to intrude with my own 2

cents. Again, I am not taking sides or getting involved in the

actual content of these arguments. Please, stop this pissing

contest. 5000 people are dead. Lives and families are destroyed.

if you have a problem with Liane, get over it. Its not worth

it. I have spoken with Liane before and she seems very nice, but not

everyone always likes everyone else. Whatever the issues are they

pale in light of what has occured on Sept. 11 and I for one will

hopefully be a better person for it.

To get back to this actual post and its content I will hope never to

again see a post where another poster is being called a " fatty " . It

is a physical judgement call that no one deserves and as a pre-op who

could still be defined as a " fatty " myself, I am offended. I have

had enough name calling to last me a lifetime...haven't you?

I came to this list to find info and in the process have come across

wonderful people (like Judie and others). Oddly enough, in the

process of gathering information, I have found my life experience

mirrored in the lives of others on this list. SO many of us have had

similar experiences, many of them not so fun. I can't even imagine

condemning anyone on this list for their obesity...we get enough of

that from society, strangers, and often from well meaning friends and

family. I guess thats all I have to say.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous. I don't know what issues you have, but

as you said, you have been treated bad because you are MO. What gives you the
