Guest guest
I just read in The Yeast Connection Cookbook that gums (guar gum was mentioned specifically) were derived from legumes! Does anyone know if this is the case for xanthum gum? My son reacted to one bean he ate a couple of weaks ago and when tested for sensitivity was +3 and +4 for everthing but lentil and peas in the legume family. I use xanthum gum for cookies and pancakes and of course, it is in most gluten free breads.... Rosie
