Guest guest
Hi Damaris Congratulations on your going to Fremont on the 20th It is always so exciting when you start officially the journey toward surgery. You can find the 1200 calorie meal plan in the file section at our group site. When you go to Orientation you will get a binder and it will also have it in there. That is where you will get weighed. It isn't recommended that you use medication to lose your 10% because you are cheating yourself. It is during that time you need to learn new eating habits. That is why they give us the 1200 calorie meal plan it is to prepare us for the real deal. I don't call it a diet because once you start to call it a diet you are setting your self up for failure. You need to think of it as a new way of eating. It is a meal plan that is some what structured close to what we eat after surgery. So I would recommend using that. I was able to lose 35 pounds in 2 months by following that plan. One thing you will need to do is get a scale and measuring cups. It is very important that you weigh and measure you portions. If you do that and drink you water and exercise. Soon you will be there with the rest of us. Good luck Ramona
