Guest guest
there are times when i can hardly eat anything and then there are times where i can't believe i ate all that...lol. there are times where i hope i'm not eating too much, but i eat til i'm full making sure i get my protein in first. protein is usually my only item of food. i really need to start on veggies and a little more fruit but it's so hard. laurette 4/23/04 open RNY 309/290/254/
Guest guest
Wow Amy, I wasn't able to have anything but liquids for the first 10 days out from my surgery. Then for the next 18 days was only allowed pureed foods. Anything that was the consistency of applesauce and could go through a straw. It's amazing how different the programs are. Just be careful and good luck. Laurette 4/23/04 open RNY 309/290/254/

Guest guest
Ray: Love your humor! I too look up a lot of things about what we can eat and can't eat. God forbid, I do something to screw up my surgery after fighting so long to have it....lol... Good luck to you and you are in my prayers! Guest guest
Yeah see...that's the problem...all the women always say I have a great sense of humor but they don't want to date the fat guy! lol Okay, okay, I know my humor is far less than candid. Let's face it though, there's nothing funny about not being able to wipe your own butt half the time. hehehe How come nobody ever talks about things like that on Montel ? Anybody else out there like sweat pants? How about sandals or slip on shoes? I will not miss ANY of those things. I want to shove my soon to be baggy little butt into a pair of tight ass blue denim I picked up off of the shelf on sale and NOT in the LARGE ASS section. I can deal with the fact that I can no longer visit any of the new Chinese buffets with a sense of passion combined with impending doom. I welcome your prayers and hope to be able to post again after surgery. Maybe I won't go through so many office chairs then. muwhahahaha Oh, is it okay that crazy people are posting here too? I should have asked before I joined but in all honesty it is only the nervous stomach and looming surgery that causes my " defense by humor " levels to rise. Later all... > Ray: > Love your humor! Guest guest
Ray, I think we should start a new national organization. All of us who have been forced into wearing awful stretch pants and shirts and looking like crap because nothing else fits. I am with you. I swear I will never ever wear stretchy knit pants again after I loose the weight. Maybe we should all get together and burn our sweat pants. Just a thought. I personally enjoy the humor, and in reality everyone is a little crazy aren't they?
