Guest guest
I saw an improvement after 2 days...so it's probably not your imagination. Take a lot of pix so you can compare your son's progress every week. I just got back from Florida...found that more people came up to us than at home, but no one asked about his band. I think people share their negative opinions/experiences because they are people that like to bitch and moan or they enjoy finding someone to commiserate with them. I wouldn't let them get to you...they probably don't realize what they are doing. And if you have already seen an improvement, then you know it's working. yeah! Mom to Luke, 6 months old, severe brachy, mild plagio 5 weeks tomorrow in STARband NY, NY > > So my son has been in his starband for a week now. I feel like I already see improvement, but it might just be my imagination. He's adjusted really well to it, except for sweating a ton (we live in FL, so it is HOT outside!). I've had TONS of comments, mostly people telling me how cute his is (probably, b/c they don't know what to say) and then others telling me how their kid had a helmet or they know of someone who had one. Anyways, the point of my post was to say that a bunch of people who had a helmet or know of someone who had one say how it didn't work for their kid and how it was a waste of money. WHY would anyone tell me that??? I feel like I already see improvement, so I don't really pay much attention, but just makes me mad. Anyone else have similar experiences???? >
Guest guest
He's almost 7 months...started starband a little after his 6 month birthday.--- In Plagiocephaly , Regine <cregine1@...> wrote: > > > That's so exciting. My son has been in the starband over a week and I do not notice any difference. My first son wore the helmet too late (started at 11 mon.) and know I feel like the same thing is going to happen again. Guest guest
My son went from 8mm to 4mm in one week with the star band i am soooo happy. But the guy at hangers said the improvement will slow down a bit now and it will still take a good 3 months for full results. your not crazy it is def. possible to see a dif in a week. > > > > > > From: Jen <jenluck123 (DOT) com> > > Subject: one week in starband > > Plagiocephaly > > Date: Wednesday, May 13, 2009, 10:18 AM > > > > > > > > > > So my son has been in his starband for a week now.
