Guest guest
Let me check. I know I just read a research article, I have to try and find it that there is a high relationship between beryllium and Sarcoid Neurosarcoidosis Good Morning-- My husband is stricken with Neurosarcoidosis. He has worked with the USN and retired in Spet. 1991, after 21 years of service. Apparently he worked with nuclear weapons. Is anyone familiarized with the word "beryllium?" Or what about Chronic Beryllium Disease (CBD), (i.e. berylliosis)? I'm seeking for people who served in the Military who has been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. Thank-you and God Bless. Guest guest
Well Bless you both, I was in the Army and Beryllium is use in weapon casings of certain Atomic and non-atomic weapon systems. I did not work with theses weapons but because of my duties knew of them. I also have Neurosarcoidosis. I blame the dang sand flies in Southwest Asia during Desert Shield/Storm. Or it could be caused by one of the vacc we received vacc A & B and had to take a pill every 8 hours for possible Nerve agent called the PB pill. I serve from Mar 1982 to Nov 1992. In the US , Germany, Panama, and Southwest Asia. I do not know if this Sarcoidosis is due to my Military Service or not for truth. I have learned that sarcoidosis is a infectious response. Bless your Husbsand for his service and let him know an Army Puke sends his best to him. Greg > > Good Morning-- > My husband is stricken with Neurosarcoidosis.
