When I asked why I never got the results of it, someone told me it was done at the wrong week, therefore wouldn't have given appropriate results. Actually the test was done at the right time, but the date written on the prescription was wrong, so they didn't consider it. When I asked the nurse why didn't they go ahead and tell me when I was still in time to re-do the test, she said " and if it came out positive, would you have considered a termination of pregnancy? " The deal was, that anyway it wasn't for them to decide, wasn't it? So there is a possibility that it may have shown something, and they didn't know what to do, so they threw it away...??? (military doctors???) I can't accuse anyone, and can't prove it anyway; and even if I did, I'd probably be wrong, or it may have not shown anything (afterall, with my twins all the levels were normal); it probably is just my imagination. But I've always wondered about it. So if anyone has infos on this, I'll be glad to hear that too :-) Cristina-WA Mom to 4.7 ASD & 23 mo NT twins ##
Guest guest
I, too, had a question about the test results and decided to have an amnio done-that did not show anything. I wondered about this as well. WHY did the test come back questionable?? Is there something that makes these tests come back like that???? __________________________________________________
