Guest guest
* Agree- the pullup is giving him the Ok to go in his pants. I would not use them. on Long Island New York * On Sat, 4 Aug 2001 23:35:14 -0400 " Hickey " writes: > Our 5yo son will be starting Kindergarten in about 3 weeks. Guest guest
My 4 1/2 year old son pooped in the potty for the first time two days ago. He wouldn't repeat the feat yesterday, but at least we did have some kind of breakthrough. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary before his first potty poop. I think he's just reaching a level of maturity where he's starting to get it. He did have a year of constipation while he was three, and I'm sure this greatly affected his desire to go on the potty. He's always said he's been afraid it would hurt. Good Luck! Debbie
Guest guest
, My NT son did that too. We said no to the pullups and when we were at home, we even let him go without underwear, because he would use those too instead of going to the potty. I have several friends who said their sons did that too. No offense men, but what is with guys and their poops? F. Guest guest
We have this problem too...3 months ago we told him NO MORE pull-ups and he didn't go for 3 days and then began to have TEE-TEE accidents regularly. Our piediatrician(not DAN DR.) said not to push the issue...even if he was (and now has)turning 5 in AUG. We are going to try again w/the NO Pull-UPS & see what happens. Good luck.
