Guest guest
Low iron levels are a common problem. It is just folk lore that they happen only to pre menopausal women. If you are just concerned about iron, I would recommend SOLGAR GENTLE IRON KOSHER 180 VEGICAPS at http://www.vitacost.com/store/products/productdescription.cfm?SKUNumber=03398401\ 2509 The iron in them is in iron amino acid chelate form which is the most highly absorbable supplement form. The supplement I use has 60 mg of iron in iron amino acid chelate form. Since I started using it, my iron levels increased substantially. Guest guest
Wow! , that is very impressive. NOW let them say we don't need iron. I'm glad you're feeling better. It's awful when you want to do things, but can't find the energy. Barbara Jean RE: Low Serum Ferritin Level? > I have had this problem for almost two years but it looks like I've solved it! That's the highest my ferritin has been in three years. Did I mention that I'm thrilled? Best of all, I finally have ENERGY again! > > Good luck finding something that works for you. > > Z > Open RNY 09/17/01 > 310/127/140 (goal 160) > then/lowest/now > http://tinyurl.com/4e3h > > > >
Guest guest
We are almost ALL low in iron, according to a reasonably large study I read recently. Here's the info on that study and my take on it. http://tinyurl.com/4e3h#062403 Z Open RNY 09/17/01 310/127/140 (goal 160) then/lowest/now From: Barbara Jean Sent: Thu 7/31/2003 10:06 PM To: Graduate-OSSG Subject: Re: Low Serum Ferritin Level? (if not, it would sure make everyone else laugh). Barbara Jean Re: Low Serum Ferritin Level? > > > > > > > Back at the computer already .
