Guest guest
Thanks to all who sent me the nice birthday wishes. The years seem to go by quicker and quicker. I just came back from Nat. Jewish hospital in Denver. They are concerned because I have started to get severe dizzy spells and was wondering if any one else had similar problems. I always get the halo effect first then get so dizzy I cant even stand. NJH said that was a sign that the sarc was getting worse. At this point I am just worn out from it and wish it would just go away. Take Care, MATT
Guest guest
Matt, Again happy B-day. I get dizzy or vertigo spells. They Have lessen in the last months. It used to hit me fast and cause me to fall and at times I found I could not move a muscle for up to 10 min. Well I had a new MRI about two weeks ago and there was marked improvement in the out side of the brain. But found swelling in a vessele in the interior of the brain either caused by a stroke or My neurosarcoidosis. I have learned to watch for these spells and to sit down or lay down before they hit. Also found if I really push myself I have more then I do If I just releax. Use to be be big in working out but had to slow down because I fell off the stationary bike twice. Damn Pred got me from 198 to 265. Trying to trim it off now. Sorry I rambled Greg aka Krumdawg > > Thanks to all who sent me the nice birthday wishes. The years seem to go by quicker and quicker. Guest guest
Hey Matt. I too get the dizzies. When I feel them coming on I take Meclazine. (can't spell so I hope it is right.) I have a running prescription at a PRN basis. It helps. They go away for some time then pow they come back. I have the doc's here baffled. So far so good. Good luck with yours and know you are not alone. You are in my prayers for a better life as is everyone here in the NS group. Best wishes Jackie Re: my birthday Matt,Again happy B-day. Guest guest
UGGGGG! Don't get me started about my big fat pred belly! It's as big as my granddaughters & she's having a baby in August. I went from 150-60 to 201-211! I don't buy clothes I rent them. I drop the skin tight ones at the donation door at Goodwill and go in the store & get the next size up. It's bad when the cashiers know your face. LOLJoin our Sock Challenge for Orphans in Kazakhstan http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/Mittens_ for_Akkol/ grannylunatic@...
