This is what found my staple line disruption. It could also be used to check for fistulas and certain blockages, I suppose. When I had a bowel obstruction a while back, they did one of these, but my surgeon's office insisted it was an ulcer and the xray tech explained if I had an ulcer in the transected part of my stomach, it certainly wouldn't show... http://www.eradain.com/apoplexy Re: Re: Ulcers I do not believe an Upper GI discovers an ulcer.
