Old-timers on SCD question

Okay, I know this is probably out there on another thread, I'm just not sure how

to find it! I want to know some specifics about those of you who have been on

SCD, without meds, for longer than just a few years. Thanks for any input for a

newbie like me!

1) How long have you been on SCD?

2) Have you had a colonoscopy, endosccopy, pill cam, etc. after being on SCD,

and what did it show?

3) What do your blood tests show? CRP? SED? Other markers?

4) Any other " official " ways your Crohn's has been measured and what did it

show?

I believe in the benefit of SCD and am committed to it! I put myself on it right

after being diagnosed. BUT, I haven't yet met anyone who can say that yes,

through all of these tests and not just symptom-free, their Crohn's has been

helped. So....any input you can give me would be much appreciated!!!

1. I've been on SCD since 12/01/08 (15 1/2 months)

2. I had a colonoscopy last May, and it showed a normal looking colon. However,

biopsies showed microscopic inflammation. This is a huge improvement though!

I've never had a normal looking colon. All fistulas and fissures are healed too

:-).

3. I don't think my doc has ever done any of those blood tests.

4. I've gained 16 pounds in the last year (up from 90 to 106).
