Guest guest
I do not tolerate dairy products very well at all. Do any of you have any advice on using the Culturelle product without inulin in lieu of farmer or dry curd cheese? I am in the first week of the diet FYI. Thanks

Guest guest
,This is what I found out:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lactobacillus_rhamnosusIt sounds to be safe other than the capsule contains milk products--which isn't legal. If you read to the very bottom of the article you will see that this is the strain that is in Culturelle.AmeliaHusband UC 9 years, SCD 19 monthsLDN 3 mgFrom: songandstudio To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Wed, February 3, 2010 12:17:54 AMSubject: Re: Culturelle instead of Farmer cheese? http://www.culturelle.com/about_culturelle/product_edh30 > > >I do not tolerate dairy products very well at > >all. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. But the SDC yogurt is made from dairy cultures as well. Isn't this the same thing? > > > > >I do not tolerate dairy products very well at > > >all. Guest guest
,Milk, as in 24 hour fermented yogurt is legal, liquid milk or milk products like casin, whey, lactose, are not. If they have used a milk product as a filler in with the Culturelle to help 'fill' the capsule, then they would not be legal. Hope that makes sense.
