Honestly hon, get a second opinion. Ask yur friend who they have as their

ob-gyn. Do NOT take a referral from your ob-gyn.

Ask about fibroids, early menopause, endometriosis. Ask about a possible

dilation and curettage to help. Ask about hormone-reulating therapy. For MANY

women, the bleeding comes from small fibroids, benign tumors in the uterine

muscle

wall that are hormone-sensitive. The issue is though to be the fibroids in

those cases, not the hormones. Keep asking questions. With the kind of surgery

we have had (GB) we cannot afford anything that might bring us near anemia.
