I heard somewhere that if you pay out of pocket it can be deducted. I'm not

sure though. Your local H & R block, or if you have your own accountant,

should be able to answer that question.

Medical expenses are usually deductable.

Check with your tax preparer.

its a medical expense.....save all your receipts and yes, if you have paid

out enough its tax deductible. and from what i understand so are the protein

& vitamins that we have to take, so save all receipts related to this

surgery.

If the surgery and medical bills are more than 7%(don't quote me on that

percentage) of your income it is tax deductable.
