Guest guest
My thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery. Having gone through loss of vision due to MS many times for sometimes 6 months at a time I can relate, also the pain as with Optic nerve damage which has caused optic neuritus you get a feeling of a hot poker going through the eyeball, Can you say, get out of my face everyone! LOL Take care Love and Hugs to all http://phoenixrisng.www6.50megs.com http://ca.geocities.com/phoenixrisngca/blue.html -- Reading is a bear! Hey everyone-- I was gone for a few days. I had eye surgery on Wed. for cataracts. I have been trying to catchup with posts, but reading is a bear. The operated eye is quite blurry and I can't get a new presription for 3weeks. After they gave me medicine I started to babble about going to Spain, I didn't remember talking to the doctor about it--but he was full of questions when I went back the next day. I thought it was amusing explaining bowel surgery to an eye surgeon! He was concerned about the amlabsorbtion part of it. " That sounds like DIARRHEA to me " , explained that the bowels do adjust, and some have constipation. Oh well, hopefully by the time I'm ready for the next eye to get done, I'll be a shadow of my former self!! I'll probably be lurking mostly-until things get easier to read and type. Talk at you later!! Pammi ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thankyou for the encouragment " phoenixrising " (do you have a name? I must have missed it somewhere) You are dealing with way more than most--MS is a beast--the optic nerve stuff is a difficult one. You're very courageous to attempt having the DS on top of this. Wishing you the best!
