Hi a, Why did you have your hardware removed? I have

something like 28 screws/plates in and there is only one that is

bothering me, but at this point, with some other more serious

issues, it is low on the list. It happens to be the one under my

eye, right up by the bridge of my nose, practically. the one on the

other side i can feel if i LOOK FOR IT, but this one sticks out, not

to the sight, but everytime i touch my face there, put lotion on,

makeup...... How long after your surgery did you have it done? I am

8 months post op. I did speak with dr about it, but he is really

discouraging me from doing anything, and like i said i have more

major things i am speaking with him about. i would assume they

would have to cut along the same incision line and peel back, way up

high, as in orig surgery, to get it out. OUCH. Dr did say they

could go in through external, but he was not keen on a possible scar

and or any nerve issue. Thanks, katie
