Guest guest
Thanks, Sue! That was a great little synopsis. Is Michele with one L working for Dr. Champion now? I wondered what happened to her, she used to be so active on the list. in NJ ********************** > > > I got to meet michele - One L - from dr. champions office, lisa from dr. T's office in melbourne, shelia from NJ and our own Vitalady and vitaguy. dr. marcus from md. I also spent some time with discussion restrictive vs. malabsorptive procedures. at the welcome social One L and others cornered any new docs we could find and tried to educate them. dr. Sashi from PA? was one of our victims. thats about all the info I have right now - the flight back was a little long and I'm a little fuzzy still. > sue
Guest guest
Oh my my my! Sue, I got blasted big time at the conference because one of the speakers (a dietician, of course) overheard me say this same thing in a restaurant. She was highly insulted, and let us know it in no uncertain terms. How dare I say such a thing about dieticians! I agree with you about that dietician meeting. They couldn't even agree on what to talk about, let alone what to say. They proved our point, but they still don't see it. And, by the way, you met me too. They couldn't even agree on what to talk about, let alone what to say. ** that was the oddest thing i thought - they spent like 20min. deciding what to talk about and how to discuss it while people just kept leaving. not much knowledge shared while they figured out HOW to do it. talk about unorganized with only an hour to do it in. > And, by the way, you met me too. ** I'm horrible with names, remembering them that is. sorry. I know I met several NJ people and a couple from dr. brolins office too. next year we should do a grad list social or meet at a lunch break or something - I know there isn't much time at all for this type get together as I was running from 7:30 am to 1 am most days. I wish the airline hadn't fried my camera or I could have taken pics! sue
