I guess my worry is he will out grow the helmet before it helps the ears. Our insurance didn't want to pay for the first one and his pediatrician and the CT helped me fight it and got it. I just feel as if they will say since his head shape turned out great that they wont pay for a second. I just know if we do another helmet it will help the ears. He is outgrowing the helmet faster than they ever thought.

Hi ,My son started the Doc Band at 4.5 mths and has been in it sinceChristmas. We started noticing a diff in his ears after a month and ahalf and now his ears look great. It still needs work but it hasgreatly improved. But his case was severe. Most people report thatthe ears are the last thing that corrects so I wouldn't worry. Youstill have time. Also, his eyes are still a little off so I guessthat takes longer than the ears. >> I am curious. I have a 4.5 month old in the starband. He has been ib > his helmet since 1-26-09.
