Guest guest
I had upper and lower monday. I have had problems eating food post-op. I have mastered getting through my mouth and down the hatch, but the problem comes when the food/liquid hits the stomach. It is the most severe pain of this whole process. It is right a the bottom of my breast bone. I just ball up on the floor and shrill with pain. Room temp water seems to be the best and foods like apple sauce and pudding are bearable with a water chaser. Oral Surgeon thinks it is heartburn, so is recommending OTC heart burn meds. Mylanta does some soothing, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I think it is related to the NG tube. Any guidence?
