Guest guest
Hello my name is Jeff I live in Sacramento. I am new to this group and am on the way to losing my 10% , I need 11 more pounds. Iwill be going to Fremont. Is there anybody else from Sacramento on here? I am trying to find a local Support group that meets other than the first week of the month. I would like to get to one this month. Looking forward to your responses and information. Thanks Jeff
Guest guest
Hi Jeff...I am also in Sacramento. I'm still waiting for orientation but it seems that I was lost in the system so we are trying to figure out whats going on. I hear there are meetings at Point West but I haven't been to one yet..I probably will once I start losing the 10%. Good luck on your last 11lbs! Guest guest
Hi Jeff - I'm also in the Sacramento area. I will also be going to Fremont. I just started to lose the 10%. I was given a paper from South Sac Kaiser that had a group. I'll pull it out of my file and post it for you. There's a contact person on it. However, they weren't sure whether that group was still around or not.
Guest guest
I'm in Sac but I went to South San Francisco. There is a group from SALSA (Sacramento Area Laproscopic Surgery Associates--I think it's SALSA.org) and they welcome any patients at their meetings, whether you are their patient or not. Also, Kaiser South SF has a meeting the fourth Saturday of every month at Point West. It's really for SSF patients but then again, they won't turn you away if you just drop in. I believe there is also a group that meets in South Sac too--there are several people on this list so maybe they'll volunteer some info. Maybe us cow towners should start our own group! Guest guest
There is a group in Modesto on the first Monday of the month at McHenry Villiage and one in Turlock at ,I believe, Emmanuel Hosp. I'm not sure of when that one is.Wanda wrote: I'm going to look for a group in Modesto and turluck gas iso high now I'm trying to stay put .thanks for the infochris lopez wrote: I'm in Sac but I went to South San Francisco.
