Guest guest
Thanks.... For now we haven't gotten rid of them. I keep telling her that she can help me learn how to use them. I just hate to see her giving up on the things she enjoyed so muchmattSubject: Re: Hope this question isn't too personalTo: Neurosarcoidosis Date: Friday, September 4, 2009, 9:53 AM Matt, I agree with Connie. I do stained glass/mosaics. The stuff just sits there until I have a good day and can give it a try. Even if I never finish I feel happy just having attempted something I used to be able to do on a normal, regular basis. Guest guest
I used to sew a lot. However now that I can't, it just seem to hard. I got on line and learned to make the big bows. During April of this year I had enough Purple bows made up that I gave out about 20 and had my friends to display them outside their houses. I have already staerted making them for next year. I can buy a big roll of ribbon for 6.00 and it makes about five. If I feel like it I may make 5 or it might be a month before I make any. I just haven't firured out how to put Sarcoidosis wareness on them to where it will last through the rain. The bows held up well the whole month. Guest guest
They have this wonderful Iron on material that you can print on your home printer. You can make it any size you wish and then with a little modgepodge it makes it water proof . I have used it a number of times for my children's houses. Names ect. You just print what you want. Choose a font, size and go to it. I would love to purchase one of your Ribbons if you so choose to sell me one. Let me know. You can email me at my home addy. Just so you know I am an avid crafter and sewer so I do know it works. Guest guest
This may be a really dumb idea, but have you ever tried stensiling on the the ribbon using a can of (usually 1.00) outside spray paint. Don't know if it would work, but it's cheap if it doesn't....Connie From: mosaicgirl1 <mosaicgirl1@ yahoo.com>Subject: Re: Hope this question isn't too personalTo: Neurosarcoidosis@ yahoogroups. comDate: Friday, September 4, 2009, 9:53 AM Matt,I agree with Connie.
