Guest guest
Hi everyone! Reagan has been in her band for one week and has had zero issues or reds pots. Monday morning I took her band off to do her tort stretches and she had two really large and dark red spots on her forehead/side burn areas. They have turned super dry and flaky. The ladies at CT said to leave the band off until the spots are gone and they put a mole skin patch in her band. Any of you had this? I'm not sure why this happened after a week of no issues. Any ideas? Or suggestions to keep this from happening again? Thanks! Mindi
Guest guest
We had something similar--except it was an open sore with yellow pus. We actually just took his band off and left if off for about 5 days until it scabbed and most of it fell off. We did not apply any creams or ointments, just kept it clean and dry. We also got the band adjusted b/c the fit was a little off. I have never heard of a mole skin patch--we go to CT also in San Diego. > > Hi everyone! > > Reagan has been in her band for one week and has had zero issues or > reds pots. Guest guest
My son had big red patches that turned flaky as well. my ortho recommended hydrocortozone (sp?) cream. we actually never tried it, because we noticed that if we just cut baths down it went away. also, i would ask your ortho about the mole skin-mine did not recommend using it, although i have seen that many people do.
