Guest guest
Well, earlier I called the Iowa office on e's behalf and emailed off-list. =) Gloria told me that Joyce was off all of last week and she's only in on Monday and Friday normally. She said that Dr. P (and Joyce) gets 50-60 emails per day, and since Joyce can only work on them the two days that she's in, it's easy to get behind. She also said that Joyce has to download the pictures to her hard drive to print them out, and sometimes the computer gets bogged down, or won't open the pictures, and then Joyce has to ask their IT Dept. to help them out. It didn't sound like anyone dealt with the email except Joyce. I suggested to e that he either call Dr. Ponseti or email Dr. Morcuende if the family doesn't want to wait for the email response from Dr. P through Joyce. Gloria said that the best time to reach Dr. P was 2:30 or 3 pm central time. > > I think Joyce might only work on Fridays now.. do you know, ? > So it might be best to resend the email to Dr. Ponseti's email > address rather than Joyce's. Other staffers probably check his email > when she's not there. > >
Guest guest
Oh, yes, and I asked Gloria if Dr. Ponseti knew Italian and she said that he spoke seven languages, but she didn't know which ones. That just amazed me. He is such an incredible person! So, e, if you're reading this, the odds are that Dr. P probably does know Italian. Guest guest
Hi I remember I e-mailed him around the same time as you and I still haven't recived a response either, I'm wondering if they are swamped over there. Maybe you can call them on the telephone and ask if they recived the photo's etc. Good Luck Michele Collin's story at http://www.geocities.com/chel323232 > > Hello everybody, > > I sent a second email to Dr. Ponseti (addressed to hos secretary Joyce) but still no answer...the photos I attached were, in total, approx 2Mb big, so could this be a problem for them? > Do you think it is better to provide a link where Dr. Ponseti can see the pics without downloading them? > I am really anxious to get his opinion in order to see what to do next with our Dr...he is unsure if to carry a second tenotomy so his help would be invaluable! > Thanks to everybody > e from Italy > > > --------------------------------- > To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Yahoo! Guest guest
You know he's from Spain so I suppose Italian wouldn't be a far reach. s. Guest guest
Dear , , Michele, Christee, thank you really very much for your help. I will try to call directly Dr. Ponseti and possibly write to Dr. Morcuende so we can speed up things. I don't have any particular problem in talking to him, but I cannot be of much help as I am not a doctor: I hope that they have somewhere the pictures I sent! I will keep you updated on this matter! Thanks e Christee wrote: Have you tried calling him? --------------------------------- Yahoo! Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs. Try it free.
